Spellchecker stops at every word

If the spellchecker cannot find its dictionaries, it will not recognize any words and therefore prompt the user for handling of every one.

These are the required dictionary files and should be present in the SOS folder:

American.xlg
english.aff
englishalphabet.txt

Make sure these files are present in the SOS folder. If they are, then they are probably damaged, so copy them from a workstation on which the speller is working properly.

Alternatively, download and run the following, specifying the correct SOS program folder (usually C:\SOS) when asked. (For SOS 2010 users):
