Can't move patient to inactive because of "records in the current daysheet"
Problem: "I am unable to transfer a patient to the inactive list and I keep getting the following error message:
"This patient has records in the current daysheet. Entries must be deleted from the daysheet or the daysheet must be closed."
Solution: Your problem is the result of some minor database corruption, specifically that there are one or more transactions that were never completed, leaving a "header" but no details. This sort of thing can happen if you reboot while SOS is running, or if you use Task Manager to terminate SOS.
One option is to call support and ask them to clear out any of these "orphan" transactions. The other is to go into the Admin module, click Database Tools, then DBA Utilities > Tools > Check DB Integrity. Allow that utility to clean up your database. IMPORTANT: ALWAYS DO A BACKUP BEFORE RUNNING "CHECK DB INTEGRITY". THERE IS NO UNDO FOR THE CHANGES THAT IT MAKES!
